Orange County Register Communications offers college internships each year at The Orange County Register. Application procedures and requirements differ depending on the internship. Generally, applicants should be juniors or seniors at four-year universities or graduate students enrolled in degree programs or who have extensive experience on college newspapers or professional publications. Verbal fluency in a second language – especially Spanish, but also Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese – is a preferred skill given the ethnic diversity among Orange County’s residents.
