Prof. Sarah Bartlett, director of urban and business journalism at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, will participate in a panel addressing the recession’s impact on news organizations at the New York Press Club Foundation’s 2009 Journalism Conference. The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 26 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at New York University’s Kimmel Center in downtown Manhattan.

“The Economy & the News” panel will also include representatives of Bloomberg, the Associated Press, WNYC, FT Alphaville, and CNNMoney.com.
