The clips are piling up as quickly as the end-of-semester deadlines. Check out some of the latest stories when you get chance:

Zachary Kussin’s story about creative health services for creative types made Newsweek. Meanwhile, Azriel James Relph interviewed the head of Canada’s Green Party.

•Geoffrey Decker wrote about school closings for Bed-Stuy Patch. Judy Le published a piece about complaints over a mosque’s playing of the call to prayer via a loud speaker.

•Laura Shin found Santa for Our Town. Kara Bloomgarden-Smoke wrote the passing of Elaine Kaufman.

•Erin McCarthy, working for WNYC, covered of the opening of a new biotech center, producing an article and a photo gallery.

Our News Service is pumping out the stories: Jessica Courtemanche and Samantha Stark teamed on a video piece about an expansion plan for Kennedy Airport. Walter Smith-Randolph and David Montalvo produced a video about how craft makers are dealing with the economy. Christopher Schuetze and Janet Lawrence worked together on a video about the city’s push to enforce the speed limit. Eliza Ronalds-Hannon chronicled what might have been last call at Ruby’s Bar and Grill on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Amy Kraft profiled a rooftop farm in Greenpoint. An Phung interviewed folks at Rivington House about living with HIV/AIDS.

•Annie Byrnes’ article about a proposal to create a new historic district in Downtown Brooklyn made Crain’s New York Business.

•Rima Abdelkader’s video about hope for a charity boxing competition at Gleason’s Gym made NBC Nightly News’ site.

•Damiano Beltrami put together a print-and-video package about Brooklyn’s Fixers’ Collective for The Huffington Post.

•Pictures Ben Fractenberg snapped for DNAinfo of the felled South Street Seaport Christmas tree got picked up by the Times’ City Room blog and made Page 2 of the Daily News.

•Sergey Kadinsky shared the byline on a New York Post front-page story about the shooting of a livery driver.

•Congrats to Georgia Kral on the debut of the Carroll Gardens Patch site. Georgia is looking for contributors and welcomes pitches from J-Schoolers.

•Mike Reicher covered a small plane crash for The Los Angeles Times.

Congrats to all – including the Class of 2010, whose members will be filling our Alumni Corner very soon, and to the Class of 2011, whose members are in the homestretch of a great first semester.
