Business and Economics Reporting Courses

Our program consists of four courses that will give you the skills to enter the workforce as trained, professional business journalists.

The first focuses on the economy, helping you understand how it works and how to cover it.

The second, a paid summer internship, gives you a chance to try out your skills and explore the industry in a real-world setting. (Recent student internships included Business Week, Bloomberg and the New York Daily News.)

The third and fourth courses help you develop expertise in covering companies and financial markets, which lie at the heart of all business.

While this is our established curriculum, as a relatively small program we have the flexibility to customize the curriculum to meet individual student’s needs.
