The business concentration provides events and reporting opportunities for students to improve their skills and to network with both professionals and business leaders.

In early October, the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism will host the fall conference of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers’ for the second consecutive year. The event kicks off with a panel of the top editors of Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, and The Wall Street Journal and continues with a full day that is expected to include top CEOs from some of the most well known American companies.

In the spring, Director Greg David will lead a delegation of three students in the spring conference of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers in Phoenix to cover the group’s annual conference for the CUNYatSabew web site.
