Consider all of your technical needs when applying for your student loans. While you can use your loan money as an option to pay for your laptop and other technical needs, please keep in mind that the first loan disbursement won’t be available until mid-September, after classes have started. While you wait for your loan check to arrive do not delay the purchase of your laptop. You can charge the cost to your credit card, then pay the full balance once you receive the loan monies. Apple also offers the Barclaycard Financing Visa Card (deferred interest charges for 6-12 months) as an option during promotional periods.
