AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN JOURNALISM
The spring awards dinner is held every May, honoring a career journalist and the students of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. Past honorees have included Tom Brokaw, Barbara Walters and Charlie Rose. For more information, click here.
INTERNSHIP RECOGNITION RECEPTION
Internship sponsors, employers, current J-School students and alumni are invited to attend a cocktail reception at the School, usually held in the fall. It is an opportunity for the school and students to thank the participating internship sponsors, employers and supervisors, as well as giving the employers an opportunity to meet the next crop of CUNY interns.
GUEST SPEAKERS
Several special guests visit the school each year to discuss a wide range of topics.
