Kiran Khalid is a broadcast journalist with more than 10 years of on-air experience as both a local news reporter and foreign correspondent. As a network news producer, she has produced stories for Diane Sawyer and Anderson Cooper and traveled to Mali, Ethiopia, and Pakistan to file independently. Currently she freelances as a producer for CNN’s New York bureau. She earned a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast News from the University of Texas at Austin.
