Kusnetz, Marc – Adjunct Faculty, Broadcast News Writing & Production

Marc Kusnetz has worked in network television for some 30 years, including more than a quarter-century at NBC News. He oversaw foreign news at NBC Nightly News and covered the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia, Solidarity in Poland, and the prison release of Nelson Mandela in South Africa. He also covered U.S. presidential campaigns from 1976 until 2000. He has been a consultant to Human Rights First, where he produced videos on refugees, detention, and interrogation issues in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has written for The London Review of Books, Nieman Reports, and Huffington Post.
