Paley, Amit – Adjunct Faculty, Entrepreneurial Journalism

Amit Paley, a financial investigative reporter for The Washington Post, broke a series of stories on loopholes, mismanagement, and lack of oversight related to the $700 billion financial bailout.

As a foreign correspondent based in the Post’s Baghdad bureau, he contributed to a package of articles nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. After joining the paper in 2004, he broke stories on the student loan industry that spawned several Congressional investigations.

He earned an M.S. from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Economics and Business Journalism and is completing his M.B.A. at Columbia Business School as a George A. Wiegers Fellow. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, where he served as president of The Harvard Crimson.
