Williams, Rob – Adjunct Faculty, Craft of Journalism

Rob Williams reported for The Star-Ledger in Newark, covering seven communities in Morris County and writing about development, the immigration debate, and related topics. He has also worked as a copy editor in business and sports at the Ledger and also worked for the Asbury Park Press and other news organizations. He is co-director of the Hugh N. Boyd Journalism Workshop for minority journalists, a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, and served as vice-president of the Garden State Association of Black Journalists. Williams has a B.A. in Communications from Montclair State University and an M.S. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
