Sacha, Bob – Multimedia Guest Editor, Video Storytelling for the Web

Bob Sacha is an award-winning multimedia producer who also wears the hats of photographer, documentary filmmaker, and editor. He has been a staff producer at MediaStorm; a contributing photographer at National Geographic, LIFE, and Fortune magazines, and worked on assignment for magazines all over the world. Sacha won a John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fellowship to study multimedia and film at Ohio University. His first multimedia project at MediaStorm won best Multimedia Feature in the 2008 Online News Association competition and first place in multimedia at the 2008 New York Photo Festival. He has captured numerous awards for his magazine work, including Communication Arts, Picture of the Year, Alfred Eisentaedt Award for Magazine Photography, and the Kodak Award of Excellence. He also worked on a project that won an Alfred I. DuPont Columbia University award at the end of 2009.

Sacha has taught master classes at the Maine Media Workshops, SantaFe Photography Workshops, and Toscana Photo Workshops in Italy, and is a photojournalism instructor at the International Center of Photography in New York. He is also teaching video at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in psychology and photojournalism.
