Charles Wilson, a research editor for The New York Times Magazine, is the coauthor of two books: Chew On This, with Eric Schlosser, a bestselling book for young readers about the fast-food industry, and The Good Food Revolution, written with the MacArthur award-winning urban farmer Will Allen. He has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Economist, and he has worked on the research staff of The New Yorker. He is a co-recipient of the Dart Center Award for Excellence in Coverage of Trauma for his work on Sheri Fink’s 2010 Pulitzer-prize winning investigation, “The Deadly Choices at Memorial.”
Wilson’s writing has focused on civil rights, the environment, agriculture, disability, sustainability, and running. He has completed eleven marathons; in 2007, he live-blogged his run in the New York City Marathon for nytimes.com. He holds a B.A. with High Distinction in History and English from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in English Literature from Yale.
