Adjunct Alex Goldmark Wins Peabody Award for NPR Investigative Series

CUNY J-School adjunct professor Alex Goldmark won a 2016 George Foster Peabody Award for his work on NPR’s investigative series examining the Wells Fargo bank scandal.¬†Goldmark was credited as a supervising producer.

NPR explored the aggressive sales tactics conducted by bank employees and interviewed whistleblowers who were fired after raising concerns about suspected fraud by management.

Goldmark is supervising producer for NPR’s Planet Money. Previously, he was a senior producer at WNYC and an executive producer for Air America Radio.

He teaches Radio News Writing & Reporting at the CUNY J-School.
