DESCRIPTION:Latino voters make up 15 percent of the U.S. electorate and are expected to play a pivotal role in this year’s presidential race and congressional\, state and local elections. The political power of Latinos — the second-largest voting bloc in the United States — has increased with each election and this year some 36 million Latino voters are eligible to vote. \nWhat voting trends are we seeing in this year’s run-up to the election? How are Latino voting preferences evolving? How will they impact key battleground states? \nOn April 16\, join Noticias Telemundo and the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY for an in-depth conversation that explores these crucial questions and more. \nThe panel discussion will feature Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha and Republican consultant Mike Madrid. The conversation and Q&A will be moderated by Noticias Telemundo’s Arantxa Loizaga.
