The Media Resilience Network (MDRnet) is an initiative led by Vita Activa\, created to meet an urgent need: support the emotional\, mental\, and organizational health of journalists and media leaders navigating burnout\, precarity\, and systemic exclusion in a rapidly changing world. \nRegister via Zoom \nThis 90-minute webinar will focus on a better understanding of stress and burnout indicators in newsrooms and how to address them with care. Author of “A Human Condition\, a play about journalism\,” and a 2023 Journalism JSK Fellow at Stanford University. \n  \n \n  \nCésar Montesano is the Head of Therapeutic Support at MDRnet.org; and a Humanistic Counselor and Gestalt Psychotherapist with a specialty in crisis intervention and post-traumatic stress\, therapeutic groups\, somatization and symptoms\, and various specialties in the theory of Gestalt Psychotherapy. \n  \n \n  \nDagmar Thiel is a journalist and press freedom advocate. She has led media sustainability for organizations in authoritarian regimes and developed support systems for exiles. At MDRnet\, she is responsible for fostering communities of practice and capacity building. Dagmar is an RJI fellow (2020).
