DESCRIPTION:The Journalism Protection Initiative is putting on a series of hands-on lunchtime workshops to help you get the basics of digital security in place. \nYou will learn about digital safety in your LES classes\, but it can easily feel overwhelming. These sessions are designed to cut through that. You’ll leave each one having actually done something to improve your digital safety. \nAll you need to do is bring your laptop and phone\, we’ll bring the pizza! \nThe workshops are run by Kate Parkinson\, JPI’s Risk and Safety Manager\, and Davis Erin Anderson\, senior digital security trainer at the Freedom of the Press Foundation. \nRSVP.
