Elana Zak is an audience engagement and social media specialist, currently working as a senior editor at CNN Business.
Previously, Zak was the founding social media editor at STAT, a Boston Globe Media’s life sciences news site, and an audience engagement editor at The Wall Street Journal. She has taught at New York University and Columbia University School of Journalism.
Zak holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication and a master’s degree from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
