Gogie Padilla joined the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in April 2012 after an 18-year career as a political and nonprofit fundraiser in New York City.
As a member of the development team, she works closely with the executive director of development in many areas, including prospect research, management and implementation of scholarships, and donor stewardship.
Gogie came to CUNY from Lincoln 21st Associates, Inc. an event-planning and fundraising firm she co-owned for 10 years that served a wide range of clients, including United States Fund for UNICEF, HELP USA, and the New York Transit Museum. Prior to that, she was a deputy finance director for a political campaign for six years.
She graduated from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Art History and International Business.
