Joanna Hausmann is a Venezuelan-American comedian, writer and actor who gained popularity through her videos on YouTube and as head-writer on Univision’s bilingual digital platform “Flama.” Her viral creations, which bridge bicultural gaps and challenge stereotypes through humor, have garnered over 80 million views. Her work has been featured in places such as CNN, NPR and the BBC.

Hausmann is a correspondent on the three seasons of the Netflix’s series “Bill Nye Saves The World.” She also voices characters on the Disney Channel series “Milo Murphy’s Law” as well as the upcoming television spin-off of Pixar’s “Monsters Inc.” called “Monsters at Work.”

Joanna has written for television networks including CBS and has contributed Op-Ed pieces to publications such as the New York Times. Her work won her “Best Comedian” and “Creator of the Year” in Hispanicize’s 2017 Tecla awards. She was also honored by the National Hispanic Media Coalition with the 2018 award for “Best Online Storyteller.”
