Kalli Anderson is an audio producer, writer, and documentary filmmaker. She started her career in radio at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Montreal where she worked as a reporter, researcher, and associate producer.
Since 2008, she has worked as a freelance radio documentary producer, story editor, and podcast development consultant. She also works as a freelance feature writer and independent documentary filmmaker and loves collaborating on multimedia projects that combine documentary, art, and journalism.
Her audio documentary work won a Canadian RTDNA Award for Diversity Reporting and was a finalist for a Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) award. Her writing won gold at the Canadian Digital Publishing Awards.
Kalli has a B.A. from McGill University and an M.A. from York University. She has been teaching since 2010 and previously taught at Humber College and Ryerson School of Journalism in Toronto.
