Lenn Robbins

Lenn Robbins is a veteran, award-winning sports writer and sportscaster who worked at The New York Post for 16 years before leaving to become the multimedia, in-house reporter for the Brooklyn Nets, traveling with the team, including trips to China and Great Britain.

His work has appeared in The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal,, and He has appeared on ESPN, MSG, NBA, NY1, SNY, and YES. Robbins has won 1st-place Associated Press Sports Editor honors in two categories, the Metropolitan College Basketball Writer’s Good Guy Award, and is a former president of the Football Writers Association of American. He is a Heisman Trophy voter.

He has covered the Winter and Summer Olympics, the College Football National Championship, the Final Four, and the World Series. He teaches sports journalism at Brooklyn College, NYU, and Rutgers University. He is editor-in-chief of the

Robbins received a B.A. from Stony Brook University in Psychology and Journalism in 1981 and proudly received his M.A. from the Craig Newmark School of Journalism at CUNY in 2019. He is a Dallas Cowboys fan living in NYC.
