Lydia Lovell joined the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in August 2016.
As supervisor of the equipment room, she oversees the care and deployment of video and audio recording equipment to students, faculty and staff, and maintains the AV infrastructure throughout the campus.
She was previously technical director for the School of Creative and Performing Arts in Manhattan, as well as the instructor for their one-week film intensive and a main shooter for their dance videos.
She graduated from the The New School for Public Engagement with a M.A. in Media Studies, specializing in Documentary Film Production, and from the Universidad de Castilla – La Mancha with a M.A. in Investigation in Arts & Humanities.
