Matthew Leish is vice president and assistant general counsel for The New York Daily News and U.S. News and World Report.
He is responsible for all newsroom-related litigation, including defamation and privacy claims, access to courtrooms and documents, reporter’s privilege, copyright, and related issues. He also provides advice and counsel to the publications’ editors and reporters and handles pre-publication review.
