Patricia Sulbarán Lovera is an audio producer at The New York Times, a position she has held since 2023. She previously worked as a reporter and audio producer for Latino USA, focusing on long-form audio journalism about immigration and Latinx communities. From 2016 to 2021, she was a multimedia producer and correspondent for the BBC, based in Miami and Los Angeles. In addition to her reporting, she worked as an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia Journalism School. She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.
