Seble Lemma joined the Newmark J-School as development manager in October 2022 after serving as business development and operations manager at Helen Keller International, a non-profit organization that partners with communities striving to overcome long-standing cycles of poverty and create lasting change. She previously served as the donor relations specialist at California State University, Northridge, and the stewardship coordinator at University of California, Los Angeles.
At Helen Keller, Lemma successfully managed a portfolio of institutional and private donors with partnership management, grants coordination, and reporting and fundraising systems strengthening, in support of the organization’s health and nutrition programs in Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the United States. She also helped build the donor relations program at California State University, Northridge.
Lemma earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
