Seth Bookey

Seth J. Bookey is currently head librarian at the New York Daily News. Previously, he was a researcher at the New York Post and at the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, and a fact-checker at the ABC News Research Center.

Prior to becoming a librarian, he worked in publishing as a managing editor at SIGS Publications and Jobson Healthcare Information and as a content manager for their websites and email newsletters.

He is an awards coordinator for the Publishing Triangle’s Edmund White Debut Fiction award, and his freelance writing has appeared in LGNY, Gay City News, The Villager, Downtown Express, and Lambda Book Review.

He holds a Masters of Library Science from Queens College and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Hofstra University.
