DESCRIPTION:Learn the leading software for digital visual effects and animation to enhance your web videos. \nClass meets 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday\, November 18. \nThe cost for this workshop is $549. Register here. \nIn this daylong workshop\, you will learn the basics of Adobe After Effects\, the leading software for digital visual effects\, motion graphics and animation. \nAnimation and motion graphics storytelling are in-demand skills and provides excellent opportunities to help news audiences understand complex stories in a dynamic and visual medium. Examples include animated infographics and data visualizations\, kinetic typography\, character animations\, and visual animated explanations. \nWe’ll pull back the curtain on how motion graphics storytelling works: from pre production and storyboarding\, to asset creation and animation using Adobe After Effects. \nWhat to Bring: Attendees will work in one of our computer labs and are not required to purchase or download the software onto their personal computer.
