•Samuel Lieberman’s story about a Nigerian-American mosque in Brooklyn found a home with Voices of NY. Ana Maria Rodriguez and Brooke Williams teamed on a video about the potential health impact of FreshDirect’s plan to move its trucking operation to the Bronx.
•Jessica Bal and Patrick Donachie, on assignment for the Mott Haven Herald, reported on a push to save a Bronx parish.
•Anthony Kane’s profile of a recovering heroin addict got picked up by Viewing NYC.
•Mia Garchitorena put together a subway cleanliness tips listicle for BuzzFeed.
•Roxanne Scott, on assignment for Youth Today, covered a hackathon for kids in the Bronx. Levi Sharpe wrote about a Red Hook program that helps neighborhood kids channel their problems into plays. Luke Tress reported on the positive impact of scholastic wrestling programs on grades.
