Adrian Garcia has been an adjunct lecturer at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism since 2021. He is the managing editor of data visualizations for Financial Times Specialist. He formerly worked as a data journalist for the personal finance website Bankrate and covered business and trends in Colorado including for the local news startup Denverite and The Coloradoan newspaper.
Adrian graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. He participated in ProPublica’s inaugural data institute in 2016 and the SABEW Goldschmidt Data Immersion Training in 2019.
