SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT FORM

Please read the following Scholarship Agreement carefully. This Scholarship Agreement applies to all students who have received a scholarship award to cover full or partial tuition and required student fees from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. The deadline to complete and submit this Scholarship Agreement is August 17, 2026.

By reviewing and checking each item below, electronically signing, and submitting this Scholarship Agreement, you are committing to abide by the following scholarship requirements and terms.

The standard credit requirements and three-semester timelines are listed below:

MA Journalism/MAJ-Bilingual Program

Total Credits Required: 43
Fall, 1st semester: 15 credits
Spring, 2nd semester: 13 credits
Fall, 3rd semester: 15 credits

MA Engagement Journalism Program

Total Credits Required: 40.5
Fall, 1st semester: 15 credits
Spring, 2nd semester: 12 credits
Fall, 3rd semester: 13.5 credits

4+1 Program Students Only: If you are not enrolled in the 4+1 program, select "N/A."(Required)
4. Tuition and Required Student Fees Covered by the Scholarship(Required)
5. Academic Advising and Registration Requirement(Required)
6. Changes to Credit Load(Required)
Students who plan to change their credit load or program timeline must notify the Office of Academic Affairs at academicaffairs@journalism.cuny.edu no later than July 1 before the affected semester. Academic Affairs will coordinate with Finance and Development, as needed.
