News Corporation Gives $500,000 to CUNY Graduate School of Journalism
The City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism announced today that News Corporation has donated $500,000 to the school, payable over a five-year period.
Summer internship offers are rolling in for students at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism
“Employers have shown great interest in hiring a CUNY J-School intern,” said Ellen Walterscheid, the School’s Director of Career Services. “They like the idea of a public graduate school for journalists, and know that our students are being trained on the latest equipment in a multimedia curriculum.”
Innovative 'Networked Journalism Project' Notches $175,000 MacArthur Foundation Grant
NEW YORK (March 22, 2007) – The City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism today announced the creation of the Networked Journalism Project to assist the early efforts of professional and amateur journalists to work together. The Project is funded by a $175,000 grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

More than 1,200 books given to the Graduate School of Journalism by two veteran journalists form the core collection in the Research Center, a library located at the heart of the school and its mission.
Knight Grant Launches Summer Internship Program at CUNY J-School
All 50 students at the new CUNY Graduate School of Journalism will have paid internships at news organizations this summer, with the assistance of a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
