Come join us for the 2024 Newmark Film Festival at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism!
The Newmark J-School’s 2024 Short Docs Screening showcases the work of graduating students’ capstone films. Come and watch a compelling array of short documentaries that highlight diverse stories, powerful voices, and pressing issues. This annual event takes place at Newmark and provides an opportunity to witness how these emerging journalists and filmmakers harness their storytelling skills to create deeply researched and visually engaging films. Each documentary reflects the filmmaker’s unique perspective, spotlighting untold narratives and featuring local communities, global issues, or stories of resilience and change. The screenings will be followed by Q&As with the filmmakers and a reception in the cafe.
Please note, the 40th St entrance to the building is closed on Saturday. All attendees must enter at 230 W. 41st St.
