Please join us for a free lunch and priceless conversation on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Room 308, as Errol Louis of NY1 moderates a panel discussion on New York’s rocky rollout of legal cannabis — examining what policies and practices are needed to create a viable market moving forward. Louis is also a member of the Newmark J-School faculty.

Panelists at the session, co-sponsored by the J-School’s Local Accountability Reporting Program and Vital City, include:

  • Rosalind Adams, reporter at THE CITY

  • Dr. Yasmin Hurd, Ward-Coleman Chair of Translational Neuroscience and the Director of the Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai

  • Alfredo Angueira, Chief Compliance Officer and founding partner of CONBUD, the first legal cannabis dispensary run and operated by formerly incarcerated individuals.

We expect space to be tight, so please RSVP now!
