The Brooklyn Film Festival is hosting a special screening of short documentaries from J-School students on June 4 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in downtown Brooklyn.
The evening starts at 6:00 p.m. with a mixer on the Alamo’s rooftop deck for filmmakers and audience members interested in learning more about the documentary program. All CUNY J-School students are welcome. Showtime starts at 8:30 p.m. with a special screening of student work curated by the head of the CUNY J-School’s Documentary program Yoruba Richen. Stick around after the screening for the presentation of the inaugural CUNY Best Short Doc Award.
