Adrian Garcia is a first-year adjunct lecturer at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. He also works at Money-Media, a division of the Financial Times, where he’s a data journalist covering topics related to the asset management industry. He formerly worked as a data journalist for the personal finance website Bankrate and covered business and trends in Colorado including for the local news startup Denverite and The Coloradoan newspaper.
Adrian graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. He participated in ProPublica’s inaugural data institute in 2016 and the SABEW Goldschmidt Data Immersion Training in 2019.
