Anuz Thapa is a Managing Producer at CNBC. Hailing from Nepal, he began his journalism career as a prime-time TV News Anchor at the esteemed News 24 Television. He gained valuable experience producing ground reports for BBC Media Action during Nepal’s 2015 Earthquake.
In 2014, Thapa made his way to the United States, where he contributed his expertise to prominent media outlets such as NY Daily News, Metropolis Magazine, and TheStreet.
In 2017, he completed his Master’s degree in International Reporting from the prestigious Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, following his earlier accomplishment of a Master’s degree in development communication from Tribhuwan University in Nepal in 2013.
Thapa’s linguistic abilities extend to English, Nepali, and Hindi, enabling him to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. With his wealth of experience and multicultural perspective, Thapa continues to thrive as a valuable asset in the field of journalism.
