Ben Welsh is a reporter, editor and computer programmer with more than 20 years of journalism experience. He works at Reuters, the world’s largest multimedia news provider, where he founded the organization’s News Applications Desk.
Projects he’s contributed to have been recognized by the Pulitzer Prizes, the Library of Congress’ Innovation Award, Harvard’s Bingham Prize, the Reuters Journalists of the Year Awards, Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Knight Foundation’s News Challenge and numerous other commendations for investigative reporting, digital design and online journalism.
