Daniel Felsenthal is a critic, essayist, fiction writer, poet, editor and experimental DJ whose nonfiction has appeared in The New Yorker, The Guardian, The Atlantic, The New Republic, The Nation, Los Angeles Times, the Village Voice and Pitchfork, among a number of other publications and anthologies. Felsenthal helps organize writers and advocate for better working conditions and pay for critics with the Freelance Solidarity Project, the digital media division of the National Writers Union. He has taught creative writing at Columbia University and is an Assistant Editor of the literary annual NOON. He lives in New York City with his husband.
