Kovie Biakolo is a writer, journalist, editor, and multiculturalism scholar specializing in culture and identity. Her work, which is featured in various publications, includes critical analysis and reporting of race, migration, nationality, pop culture, and the arts, among other subjects.
Currently, she is a freelance writer focused primarily on narrative essays and reporting, as well as a 2021 Lipman Fellowship recipient from Columbia University, working on a long-term story about black migrants.
