An Emmy award-winning video producer, Susan Farkas makes short documentaries on international and domestic topics.
Before going solo with her own production company, Farkas Media, she spent seven years as Chief of Radio and Television at the United Nations.
During her 17 years at NBC News, she was Senior Producer at “Dateline,” Senior Producer for Broadcast Standards, and Executive Producer of Documentaries.
She started her career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, producing radio programs and TV magazine stories.
She has won six National Emmys and the RFK Journalism Award for Human Rights Reporting.
She attended McGill University and earned her B.A. at CUNY’s John Jay College, focusing on English and film.
