Events for week of September 6, 2026

In this RTDNA/Google News Initiative training, we’ll explore ways to combat misinformation and disinformation during election coverage. We’ll use tools such as Google Fact-Check Explorer to track fact-checked images and stories. We’ll use Google Scholar to background candidates and claims. The session will be co-led by OpenSecrets, a leading journalism nonprofit focused on covering federal and state campaign finance issues as well as following dark money, and Newmark J-School’s Andy Lehren and Ben Lesser.
