Events for week of September 6, 2026

Learn how to find census data for your stories and use it confidently and appropriately. Joli Golden, a Data Dissemination Specialist at the Census Bureau, will give a presentation and answer any questions. RSVP here.

A class of visiting Dutch journalism students will be in New York this month. They'll be working on elevator pitches for their 25-minute documentaries. They will pitch to the Innovation Club, get some feedback, and will also be open to hearing Innovation Club student pitches or projects, and discuss innovative projects and ideas.  

NAHJ will be having two outlets join their meeting to talk about internship opportunities, as well as discuss upcoming events for the semester.

Join NABJ to watch a movie (to be decided) and then play a game of trivia based on the movie that was just watched, plus covering some Black history for Black History Month.
