Andrew is the Product Design + Tech Lead at Journalism + Design Lab, where he leads product management, design and software development. The Lab is a non-profit that supports trusted civic organizations in building community media programs that enable people to create, share and get reliable local news and information as civic empowerment. Previously, he worked as a Pulitzer-prize winning computational journalist and data project lead at The Marshall Project, a non-profit newsroom covering criminal justice in the United States. His stories and media products have been published by national and local newsrooms such as The New York Times, Politico, Mother Jones, Signal Cleveland and more. Before stepping into media, he worked in the legal industry, marketing, and education. He is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in data journalism.
