Julia Holmes has worked across print and digital media for more than 15 years. Currently a senior editor on the news team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she was previously a senior features editor at Bustle Media, a contributing editor at Men’s Journal, and a staff editor at Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly.
Her writing has appeared in the New Republic, the New York Times Magazine, the Food & Environment Reporting Network, and many other publications. Her first novel, Meeks, was a New York Times Editors’ Pick and Indie Next Notable Book. She has an MFA in Writing from Columbia University.
