Graduate school is about gaining practical skills to secure your place in the job market.
The Newmark J-School is laser focused on this throughout the 16-month program, and Career Services works to ensure that recent graduates develop the skills needed for a successful postgraduate job search. Within the first year after graduation, recent graduates have landed fellowships and jobs at NBC, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Frontline, Futuro Media Group, Report for America; the list goes on. Jobs range from associate producer positions in legacy broadcast companies to radio hosts for NPR affiliates to audience development for major news organizations.
