Online M.A. in Bilingual Journalism Program Course

Our yearlong program is designed around 4 seven-week blocks over 2 semesters. Each block builds the skills you need to thrive in the evolving news ecosystem. You’ll also complete five courses spread out over the year on a schedule of your choice.

Spring Semester Block 1: Digital Foundations Master the essentials of contemporary journalism—from the fundamentals of reporting and writing to making the most of AI.

Spring Semester Block 2: Deep Reporting Develop expertise in covering complex beats and mastering research techniques to uncover information and stories others might miss.

Summer Block (June-August): Essential Skills and Real-World Experience Strengthening your multimedia and data skills and gaining hands-on professional experience.

Fall Semester Block 3: Community Connection Learn to report on diverse communities with nuance while building strategies to engage audiences who need your journalism most.

Fall Semester Block 4: Enterprise and Innovation Bring everything together with ambitious reporting projects and develop an entrepreneurial project to prepare for a sustainable journalism career.
