This in-person workshop focuses on what journalists can learn from conflict mediators about reporting on polarizing topics with deep empathy, humanity, and nuance. It is designed to help reporters unwind “us vs. them” narratives, challenge stereotypes, locate hope, and tell high-impact stories that open people up to different ways of thinking about themselves, others, and what divides us.
