For 20 years, Newmark J-School has prepared journalists to serve the public with skill, integrity, and purpose.

In January 2024, we took our next bold step by launching a campaign to make tuition-free journalism education a permanent reality, thanks to a transformative gift from Craig Newmark Philanthropies.

Proceeds from the evening will support scholarships and student success initiatives while helping advance our long-term goal of a tuition-free Newmark J-School. Together, we’re investing in the news gatherers of the future and strengthening journalism as a force for good.
